The name Body Talk was hiding in plain sight
Once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it.
I realised a long time ago that our symptoms were messengers.
Messengers for change.
Whether it's numbness, pain, dizziness, rash, burning, cysts, aches or fatigue... they're all messengers.
This is your body trying to talk to you.
This is your body wanting you to think, believe and do things differently.
It starts subtly, just like a whisper.
“Hey.”
“You didn't hear?”
“I'll say it a little louder.”
“You still can't hear me?”
“OK, I'll SHOUT so now you have to hear me.”
This is what happens.
We wait until the body shouts.
We miss the first few signs.
Now, this process may take six months or twenty years, but this is how it happens.
The body tries.... And tries.
Again and again to grab your attention.
It will keep trying.
We don't tend to hear.
“But I woke up one morning with this pain. It came out of nowhere and I can't get rid of it.”
No.... You didn't.
You have been oblivious to your body's many cries for attention and help.
You're listening now because the cry is deafening.
It's a cry you cannot ignore any longer.
You're now at crisis point.
Now you're seeking help.
I know this because I've been there.
I’ve been oblivious. The first loud scream for me was in 2005. I remember because a rugby international day out was planned for the 6 Nations Grand Slam in Cardiff. I didn’t go. I had a ’24 hour bug’.
But did I?
No, I didn’t, I realise that now.
I spent the whole day asleep, weak, and unwell. My body had said
“Enough. I’ve got nothing for you today”
Indeed, it had nothing. Nothing.
The next time something identical happened? I blamed the seabass. There were many others. I can see these now. I didn’t see or hear the messages when they would have counted.
These were a pre-warning for 2 years later where my body couldn’t move one Saturday morning in bed. Then this happened frequently until immune suppressants were prescribed.
I missed all the whispers, the cries. I missed the screams. I missed the shouts.
Until my body just stopped.
Today I Listen... Today I See...
Today, I listen to your body because this is my business .
When you come...
Come with an open mind.
Come with an open heart.
Let's investigate.
Let's understand what messages you have been missing.
Let's understand what changes your body is asking for.
Healing takes time.
True healing is a journey.
True healing involves your whole self.
Your physical.
Your emotional.
Your mental.
Your spiritual.
You are all of this.
They are all involved when we are not well. Focusing on only the physical body is not healing.
Likewise, focusing only on the emotional body is not healing.
Healing involves looking at the whole of you.
We have been conditioned to believe that we are a body with a soul.
But it is not true.
You are a soul with a body.
Without the you, you'd only be flesh and bones.
It's you who has thoughts and feelings.
It's you who experiences life.
It's you who holds on to these experiences.
It is your soul who speaks to you.
It's the real you who is trying to grab your attention with the numbness, pain, fatigue...
Believe me...
You would have tried numerous ways to grab your attention before now.
But in vain.
“Why do you want my attention?”
Because there are some things you're holding onto.
Things that you can't hold onto anymore.
Things... Or rather...
Memories.
Experiences.
Events.
And the fear, guilt, perfection, distrust, pride that accompanies them.
They are all pleading for your attention.
They want you to let go.
This is how the body talks.
Your body talks so you don't have to
Kinesiology is a way to listen to your body.
So it's your body that leads your healing.
This is not therapy.
You don't need to talk.
Yes... You get it now.
Because your body will do the talking.
Whether we're checking for chemical or food stressors, nutrition, toxicity, or energy blocks caused by past traumas...
Your body leads the way.
I will interpret and lead you in your own healing.
Let me guide you to make those changes.
Let me guide you to let go.
Healing is a choice.
Healing doesn't just happen.
When you choose healing...
You choose you.
Let me show you the way.
Let your body talk...
Because I'm listening.
